Do I have to pay to try it?

No. 10 days, once per account, with no card, with Scholar's study tools and Counsel's practice tools open together. That is the trial whichever plan you pick, and when it ends it tells you which plan fits the way you work. There is no permanently free plan; the trial is the way in.

What makes Scholar ₹199 and not ₹499?

A student has no clients, no hearings to watch and no contracts to send for signature, and those are the parts of this product that cost us money to run. Scholar drops them and keeps the reading and the practice: bare Acts, landmark judgments, Explain mode, moot research and practice sets, on the web as well as the phone. There is no enrolment check, so anyone may buy it.

What happened to the ₹99 plan?

Nothing. It is called Law365 Lite and it works exactly as it did, inside the Android app, where it is still bought. Existing subscribers keep what they bought and nobody is moved without asking. It is not sold on this website because it does not include the web workspace.

Is GST included in these prices?

Accepted Answer

No. Every price on this page excludes GST at 18%, which is added at checkout and printed on the tax invoice. Counsel is ₹499 plus GST, so ₹589 payable.

How long is a billing term?

Accepted Answer

Ten days or a month, and the ten-day term is the one you land on. The free trial is 10 days, so the short term is the same length again if you want to carry on without committing to a month. A month is the cheaper of the two per day on every plan, and the switch says by how much.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Accepted Answer

No. A plan is not refundable once the term is active, and cancelling stops the next renewal rather than paying back the current one. That is why there is a 10-day trial with no card, and why the smallest thing you ever have to buy is ten days. A charge that was wrong is a different matter: a double charge, money taken with no plan activated, or a charge after you cancelled is refunded in full. The full policy is on the refunds page.

Can I pay yearly?

Not yet. A yearly term is coming and the switch shows it as Soon; until it opens, the terms on sale are ten days and a month. When it does open it will cost ten months for twelve, which is the ratio the ₹99 and ₹999 plans have always used.

Question 8

How many people does Chambers cover?

Accepted Answer

Five, included. Additional seats are ₹249 each on the same billing cycle, so a chamber grows without a sales call. Move the slider past five and the Chambers card quotes the whole figure.

Can I stop it?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from Settings, at any time. Stopping the renewal keeps the plan running to the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing is taken away early.
